ALL-STARS
OBJECTIVE

To provide an incentive to coaches to work with the regular season teams in skills development, sportsmanship, teamwork and to build good character. To provide an incentive to players to do their best on the field and to reward hustle, teamwork and sportsmanship. To provide a format to field the best all-star teams to represent Chino Hills USA Baseball in competitive play in the post season.

2008 PLAYER NOMINATIONS
  • Each manager may nominate players from his / her own team.
  • There is no limit on the number of players that can be nominated.
  • The families of the player being nominated need to be told of the commitment of being an all-star player.
  • Each player and parents are to sign a letter of commitment

  • The following information is needed at the time of the player’s nomination: Player name, team and division, comments, parent(s) names, phone number, player’s birthday, shirt size, pants size and preferred shirt #
All final rosters must be approved by the Board of Directors. Each Manager/Coach, regardless of final team standing, must be approved by the CHUSA Board.
2008 ALL STAR TEAMS

The number of teams will be determined at a later date.

*Players must be the appropriate age for the team. Player’s birth date (by May 1, 2007) will determine what team the player will play on. There will be no playing up.

All final rosters must be approved by the CHUSA Board.

SELECTING THE MANAGER

Upon Board approval, the managers of each divisions Championship team following the playoffs is offered the All Star Manager position. If he/she declines, the 2nd place team’s manager is offered the position. If there are 2 teams in a particular division, the next manager (according to final rankings) will be asked.

Each Manager/Coach, regardless of final team standings, must be approved by the CHUSA Board.

2008 TEAM SELECTION

    Time and date to be determined at a later date.

    Please note: The below rules may be updated prior to the end of the season!

  • If the manager can't make it, a coach can be sent in their place. Each team needs to be represented.
  • The all star team will be selected.
  • The commissioner is there to over see the process.
  • The winning manager will select the MAXIMUM 5 players from his team.
  • Then he can get input from the other managers and select his team.
  • A selected player is not required to be on the nomination list. However, they MUST be a current player in a CHUSA team for the current spring season.
  • There must be at least 1 player from each team on the all star team, and a max of 5 from any one team.
  • All Star teams shall consist of 12-15 players.
  • All rosters must be approved by the Board of Directors.
  • CHUSA requires that All Star players have a minimum 2.0 GPA.
  • Birth certificates will be checked.
