| Objective: To provide an incentive for Coaches to work with their regular season teams in skills development, sportsmanship, team work and to build good character. To provide an incentive for Players to do their best on the field and reward hustle, team work, and sportsmanship. To provide a format to field the best all-star teams to represent the Chino Hills USA Baseball League in competitive play in the post season free of adult agendas. |
All
final rosters must be approved by the Board of Directors. Each Manager/Coach,
regardless of final team standing, must be approved by the CHUSA Board. |
| PLAYER NOMINATIONS |
Each manager
should submit players from their teams as All-Star nominations. There
is not a limit as to how many can be nominated - BUT the player and
the player's family must approve the nomination! The player / player's
family must understand the commitment involved BEFORE being nominated.
No player will be permitted to play in an All-Star team without the signed Letter of Commitment. |
| NUMBER OF TEAMS |
For the 2005 season, there will be 2 All Star teams per division.

ALL
STAR COMMITMENT: TOURNAMENTS and PRACTICES The $50 is used to help defray
cost of all-star program including the uniform. |
| SELECTING THE MANAGER |
Each Manager/Coach, regardless of final team standing, must be approved by the CHUSA Board. The Manager of each Division’s Championship Team following the play-offs is the first considered for the All-Star Manager position. If he/she declines then the 2nd place team’s Manager is then considered for the position, etc. |
| SELECTING THE TEAM |
All-Star teams will consist of 13 players. There are 2 teams per division. (That makes a total of 26 kids per division.) There must be a minimum of 2 players from each team of the division represented in the combined All Star teams. (For example, out of the 26 All Star players per division, there must be (a minimum of) 2 Angels, 2 Dodgers, etc.) A maximum of 5 players may be selected from any one team. All rosters must be approved
by the Board of Directors. CHUSA requires that All-Stars have a 2.0 Grade
Point Average and that Birth Certificates are checked. |
